Last I tested world of warcraft in both open GL and Direct X and I had the same problem in both cases. My computer runs pretty cool with all my fans. I checked on power to card and I have it set up perfectly and all fans are running.
#Flickery pixles in games drivers#
I just uninstalled-restarted-installed-restarted on all the drivers till I learned about driver cleaner and then I installed beta 67.02, 67.03, and 67.04 by uninstalling-restarting in safemode-driver cleaner-restart-reinstall drivers-restart. I've tried using Vsync, playing with my refresh rate/resolution, reinstalling DX9c, and I've tried 66.93, 61.77, 66.81, beta 67.02, and Omega 1.6177. A few times I"ve had a game lock up for good making me reboot computerĪs for fixing this. My computer freezes for 1-5 sec and then goes back to normal, music stops if its playing. Whats weird is 99% of the time the flickering is coming off of 2d objects such as my interface, menu, a players name, or fire/smoke/magic effect I've found this problem in UT2004, doom 3, world of warcraft, everquest 2, and the tribes vengance demo. It only does this in 3d games and some worse then others. In all my games I get this weird flickering of streached pixles/textures all that change really fast. Sound: on motherboard SoundMAX 5.1 (updated) Video: BFG 6800 Ultra OC (67.81 at the moment) Figured most people wouldn't want to read whole other post so I decided to just post the stuff here.
